Business continuity at Spoor & Fisher in light of COVID-19

Further to the outbreak of COVID-19, we would like to assure our clients that all the offices of Spoor & Fisher remain fully operational at this time. We are following all guidance and advice issued by the South African and UK, Channel Islands authorities and will take appropriate, immediate action in each of our jurisdictions as a result of further developments. The health and safety of our staff and local associates is paramount.

We have in place a business continuity plan. This involves amongst other things, a technology platform that is enabling our staff to work remotely. Contingency plans are set up for the movement of documents.

As a matter of course, we are in close contact with our local offices and associates across Africa and the Caribbean. They are monitoring the operational situation at the respective IPOs and courts. We will advise clients accordingly regarding any delays to current matters.
