South Africa: Plant Breeders’ Rights Office will remain closed until 30 April 2020

The Director: Genetic Resources, Dr Noluthando Netnou-Nkoana has issued an updated formal notice advising that, the closure of the Plant Breeders’ Rights Office will be extended until 30 April 2020.

Plant Breeders’ Rights applications can still be submitted on-line to secure an application date, and hard copies thereof must be submitted at the Plant Breeders’ Rights Office within 7 days after the 30th of April 2020. Plant Breeders’ Rights applications will be processed after the 30th of April 2020.
