Spoor & Fisher receives recognition for its contribution to Innovation Management in Southern Africa
Spoor & Fisher is pleased to announce that its University Team recently received the Department of Science and Innovation / Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association (DSI/SARIMA) Award for Organisational Excellence in Innovation Management, jointly with UCT Research Contracts & Innovation. This accolade is traditionally awarded to technology transfer offices in the Southern African states and it is the first time that the contribution of an intellectual property law firm to the development of Innovation Management in Southern Africa has been recognised.
The award recognises organisations that have made a significant impact in building, encouraging and championing innovation within their organisation over many years; that have developed and implemented initiatives and specific interventions during the period under review (2018); and that have shared their knowledge of best practice within the Innovation Management community or had an impact in the Innovation Management community beyond their own organisation.
We are very proud of the Spoor & Fisher University Team, which includes the following individuals: Chyreene Truluck, Danie Pienaar, Dina Biagio, Dineo Modibedi, Dirk Hanekom, Herman van Schalkwyk, John Foster, Lance Abramson, Lodewyk Cilliers, Tyron Grant and Yogani Reddy.
