Spoor & Fisher Statement of Business Conduct
Spoor & Fisher has in place a Statement of Business Conduct. The Statement sets out for the stakeholders in the business of Spoor & Fisher, the values we aspire to and the related principles in “doing business” that defines Spoor & Fisher.
Spoor & Fisher Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy
Spoor & Fisher handles work on behalf of clients in a number of jurisdictions, and represents clients from all over the world. Spoor & Fisher has an obligation to comply with the anti-corruption laws of the countries in which it operates, and also to ensure that it complies with the anti-corruption laws that apply to its clients insofar as such laws require compliance from Spoor & Fisher.
The anti-corruption laws that are particularly relevant to Spoor & Fisher are the following:
- The South African Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act 12 of 2014;
- The UK Bribery Act, 2010; and
- The US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, 1977.
Spoor & Fisher does not tolerate any form of bribery or corruption and it is a requirement of our anti-bribery and corruption policy that all Spoor & Fisher employees, contractors and partners (Spoor & Fisher representatives) comply with both the letter and the spirit of the policy and all applicable anti-corruption laws.
