The authorities in Cape Verde have approved accession to a number of international agreements, although the instruments of accession have not yet been deposited and it is unclear just when this will happen. The agreements are the following:
- ARIPO – the Banjul Agreement (trade marks) and the Harare Agreement (patents)
- The Madrid Protocol
- The Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT)
- Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property
- Lisbon Agreement for the Protection of Appellations of Origin
We will report further when there is more detail.
