A prominent guide to pre-eminent law firms, the Legal 500 has recognised our firm several times, acknowledging our market leadership in trade marks and patents on the continent.

The latest accolade is based on feedback received from over 300,000 in-house peers and this year, our client feedback included the following: “The [Spoor & Fisher] team has been exceptional in terms of understanding our overall requirements.” We are also proud to have been commended for “honesty, integrity and sound legal advice”.

The report highlighted Hugh Moubray, Carl van Rooyen and Charles Webster as ‘Leading Individuals’: “Hugh Moubray is a leader in patent litigation and Charles Webster is a key name for trade mark litigation, while Carl van Rooyen is noted for trade mark and copyright litigation.” In addition, Charl Potgieter (anti-counterfeiting), Stephen Goldberg (trade marks) and  Eben van Wyk (IP litigation) were singled out for recognition.
