St Kitts & Nevis has joined the Hague Agreement and, on 8 July 2024, deposited its instrument of accession to the 1999 Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement. St Kitts & Nevis is the 74th Contracting Party to the 1999 Act and the 80th member of the Hague Union. This will enter into force on 8 October 2024.
The Hague Agreement governs the international registration of industrial designs and the Agreement effectively establishes an international system – the Hague System – that provides a mechanism for registering an industrial design in several countries by means of a single application. The system is administered by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
