Trade Mark Secretary
Spoor & Fisher currently has a vacancy for an Anti-Counterfeiting (trade mark) Secretary based at its Centurion office within the Anti-Counterfeiting team. The successful candidate should ideally have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a legal secretarial role. Experience in anti-counterfeiting matters and/or foreclosure proceedings will be advantageous.
Applicants must, at a minimum, hold a Matric Certificate, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have experience using the Court Online System. A Paralegal Diploma or relevant legal qualification will be advantageous.

Trade mark Secretary – Minimum Requirements:
- Good command of the English language.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans will be an advantage
- A keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- A sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the successful incumbent include, but will not be limited to:
- Drafting correspondence e.g., affidavits, letters, and litigious documents.
- Interacting and liaising with various 3rd parties.
- Diary and deadline management.
- Invoicing and billing.
- Typing (including dictatyping).
- Answering telephone calls.
- Arranging meetings.
- Processing invoices and managing the monthly billing.
- Updating internal accounts systems.
- Receiving, attending to and/or allocating incoming post, e-mails, and telephone calls.
- Attending to various other routine and ad hoc secretarial/administrative duties.
- Assisting with travel arrangements
