Cwengile Cwele has BSC (Genetics and Microbiology), BSC (Hon) (Genetics) and Master of Science (Plant Breeding) degrees from the University of Kwazulu-Natal and an LLB degree from the University of South Africa.

Cwengile focuses on patent prosecution for local and foreign clients, including drafting patent applications, advising on patentability and technology landscape analyses. She also assists in obtaining plant breeders’ rights for clients.
